The SMS Group of Education, Etah was established in the year 2005. The group was founded by Dr. Rajesh Kumar (Chairman), in memory of his Late father Shri Mohar Singh to carry forward his vision of making education accessible at the grassroots level of the society. The Group currently administers three colleges and two schools located in and around Etah, Uttar Pradesh.

The schools operated by the SMS Group provide English-medium education from nursery to Class XII as per the curriculum prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Board). The Colleges maintained by the SMS Group are affiliated to Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Aligarh and currently offer the following undergraduate and postgraduate courses:

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A.);
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.);
• Masters of Arts (M.A.);
• Masters of Science (M.Sc.);
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed); and
• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
